Ok, I feel a huge relief now... As you all probably know already - we applied to the surrogacy program wit my fiance - and now we have to wait for a month or so more to start. Anyway - I asked this question about the citizenship to the manager in the agency - and all my fears disappeared) they do have the ways to make it all legal, and completely imperceptible for us. They do have their own ways of doing that - and I did not get in the details, I do not think I need to know those details anyway. Perhaps different agencies have different ways, I am not sure about that. the main thing for me is that I am completely confident in my own agency)

Andreas, I hope you did not think that they do not know about this problem - and never faced it?:) I think that 90 percent of their clients are foreigners! So they do know how to handle such things... Andreas, I know that the agencies do have pretty iffy reputation - but if you decided to use the services of one of them - you need to have more trust in them) I think that if you would not trust the agency, all the months of the program would become a nightmare for you.. You would be thinking "what if" all the time, would not you?:) So relax, dude - and take a deep breath)

Yes - seems that you do need that) Anyway - i am more lucky then you are - because eventually we did find the agency that suites us really well - and it is in LA. We were really lucky to know about it on the first place. We were going to use another one, in Europe. and then - accidentally, we heard about this new agency in our city. They just opened - and did not have any kind of the advertisement yet. So if we would not know about it trough one friend - we would have to go to Europe.. i love Europe - but not that much, i mean - to go there for a long time)
that is one of those question which i cannot answer, you know... cause generaly i have no idea how to be with all this. i mean i know almost nothing about the citizenship of kids if the surrogacy program takes place somewhere not here, you know? perhaps your kid will be a citizen where he is born?? i am not realy sure
Have a fantastic day today together with me!!! How are you feeling guys??? I am not a specialist here frankly speaking. I had a good agent and manager who solved all these difficult questions.. But not me. It is pretty difficult for me. But I liked the idea one gay suggested, I mean that legal ones or semi legal, so to say, to avoid the child getting the citizenship of the country it was born in. Or there is another way, to move the surrogate mother to the country where the double citizenship is allowed, or , if you get lucky, to get her to your own country for the birth. In any case you should consult with someone
I think if you want to get a correct answer on this question, then you should go to the lawyer and ask him aboutthis question. I'm not a lawyer and I don't have enough knowledge in this sphere, but if I were you, the first thing I would do in such situation is to apply to him.
Good morning dear people. How are you doing today??? I want to say that I have chosen the best variant for surrogate motherhood in Europe exactly!! I have chosen the best variant for me by the way. http://panaxcenter.com/ have you ever heard about this surrogate center??? I am sure in this surrogate center because my best friend used this agency and now he is a happy father of three children!!! Could you believe??? I even found out something new about that agency, about their staff and service. So I like everything there)))
I think it's a very difficult question, and I don't think that someone can answer this difficult question, but I can give you a piece of advise. You should go to the lawyer and ask him about everything conserning this questions. If you want to get a proper answer, than apply for a lawyer and then desise what to do next.
I am a father of three babies ,firstly we decided to adopt a child... So it was our first attempt, in a year we decided to refer to the surrogate agency, our mother was pregnant and we were waiting for boy, but our surprise was when we found out that we had got twins, boy and girl.... We were surely confused but in a good way you know... We were really happy. And we are happy exacttly thanks to this helping surrogate agency which is very very popular among our world!!!You are welcom here http://panaxcenter.com/ if you are interested in it!
It depends on the legislation of the specific country. Each country has its own legal provisions and they have so much differences. You should talk with a good lawyer to have an answer to your question and solve this problem. I know that some countries have provisions like even if baby born in the other country, he/she will have citizenship like his/her parents.
