Hmmm.. Honestly, I will choose the second option. I will explain why. First of all, you know that woman who will be a mother for your child. It means that you know who she, her lifestyle, even her past. Of course, you can check heredity in her family. The second argument - it may be cheaper. You know a future mother for your baby; you're friends so you can agree with each other. And the last - I feel calm when understand who is an egg donor

It is sad for me to say but my partner is biological father of our baby. No no it is sad just because of my inability to be a father at all.. Unfortunately but I can not have children at all . I have some problems with my health and it doesn't allow me to be a biological father. Ultimately I am not so upset because I love my partner and it is fantastic. Probably it is better to spend more money on this procedure to be a biological donor for the baby, and then in future just look at this baby and see your second face and character. I find it really fantastic.

Thank you very much for this conversation. I am glad that the agency give those options. Because there are situations in the life, when you really can consider some of your friends - female friends , to help you in this errand. I know that it would be confusing.. Lets say, you have the husband - and you are going to ask some really good female friend of yours to become the egg donor. Even though she will not go trough the pregnancy - i am sure that she will have some.. mother feelings to this child. Will this be a family of three parents?

If the donor is found to be suitable, then the doctors try to synchronize the menstrual cycles with him and the recipient (hormones are used for this) and begin the injection course to stimulate the superovulation in the donor - this allows you to get as many eggs as possible. At a certain point, a puncture of the follicles is performed to remove the mature eggs (this manipulation is performed under anesthesia). Obtained eggs, as a rule, immediately sent for fertilization. After that (if the donor and recipient cycles are synchronized), 2 embryos are implanted in the future mother, having prepared the endometrium of the uterine cavity. The remaining blastocysts (embryos) are frozen for repeated attempts.

I would use the eggs of the anonumous egg donor. I don't want to involve the women who are my friends cause they may interfere into our life. They would know that their son or daughter is living with you, and, maybe, one day they would want to meet this child. Being a mother is very important for women, so even if they have their own families, they would also think about your child. For me it's better to use the oocytes of unfamiliar lady.

Especially for our couple it was not difficult to choose the right egg donor. We simply did not have any other choice..Because unfortunately my father can not be a father at all. Right you are, he has some problems with health, that don't allow himself to be a biological father at all. I must admit that I was upset when I have found out it but truly say I was happy too that I will become a biological father because there were no other solution in this way. And that's why my partner was just for my being an egg donor. He is fantastic for me!!!

Several factors affect the woman's ability to sacrifice her eggs. Although various egg donation programs set different qualification criteria, there is a list of some common qualities that a donor woman should have.
Women should be between the ages of 21 and 34, because at this age, eggs have high quality and quantity. The donor should not have infections such as HIV and hepatitis C, the woman should not be a carrier of the cystic fibrosis gene and be at risk of hereditary diseases.
